Impermanent Loss (IL) – The risk an investor incurs when providing liquidity to an AMM. Arising from the price of deposited assets changing compared to when they were deposited.
Yield-bearing assets – Tokens or more generally assets that generate a return for the holder. They can be generated from various activities such as by staking, providing liquidity, or by lending.
Stripping – The process in finance that involves separating the principal and interest components of the yield generating asset, and enabling them to be traded as individual securities / tokens.
