The payoff chart
<!-- Executor: confirm each chart element named here against the live UX2 chart (protect./options.) before porting; drop any that is not drawn. -->
The chart answers one question: what happens to this position if the price moves, everything else held still.
Protect#
The chart shows the whole position — the perp plus its option swap — against price. Three lines you can drag or type:
- Liq. price — your protected liquidation price (where equity meets maintenance).
- Target price — where you are aiming; the Target ROE is read there.
- The plain perp's liquidation price, for comparison.
The comparison is a plain perp at the same leverage with no swap. Option legs are valued at the oracle venue's closeable side (bid for the bought leg, ask for the sold leg). Days protected sits beside the chart: how long the account's spare margin pays the swap's holding cost at the costliest price before liquidation (⚠ under 30 days).
Option#
For one call or put the chart shows profit or loss at close against price, with the breakeven marked: bought or sold, call (green) or put (red). The Holding cost row shows what keeping it costs (bought) or earns (sold) per day.
The price grid#
The Option tab's grid shows the price per strike and duration on the side you would trade (ask to buy, bid to sell). Prices come from the single best maker for a small size; your own size may price differently — the ticket shows it.
What it does not draw#
No maker names, no maker count, no maker's room. Earn shows your own positions and P/L, not a price chart of other makers.
